Shell meshing of Dash Board using ANSA

Aim:

To shell mesh the given Dash Board using ANSA.

Procedure:

• The five Dash Board model is opened in ANSA and refined.

• The given CAD is checked for geometry and the geometrical error is corrected.
• After correcting the geometry,Mid Surface if the Cad is generated using Offset option at one instance.
• The mid surface of the ribs and dock house is generated individually everywhere.

• Once the mid surface is ready,the CAD is ready to be meshed.
• The CAD is meshed using the given Mesh parameters and according to the given quality criteria.

• After Meshing,the different parts are assigned different PIDs with respect to their thickness'.

Result:

The given Dash Board sub part is meshed using ANSA according to the given mesh parameters and Quality Criteria.
