Project 1: Creation of Mold for a table fan outer casing (Week 7)
For this week, along with the weekly assignment you will also be assigned a project. In this project, you will be given a model that is not covered in the course videos. Based on the content covered up till now, you will have to create a proper mold for the model given to you in the link below. Assume the material to be ABS (shrinkage - 0.6%). Assume the material inlet location along the red dot marked in the below image.
Creating a complete mold for a new model yourself will help you understand whether you have grasped the content covered in the course and will also serve as a good practice for the tool tests. Additionally, you can also add this to your projects page to make your portfolio stronger.
