Project 1
AIM:
- To route the wiring harness for the given engine.
- Application of all Packaging rules, Industry best practices studied in this course shall be demonstrated in design.
- Apply Protection coverings as required.
First step is to define the componenets given

Packaging Rules:
- The routing of the wiring harness must make it simple to manufacture, make the attached equipment and wiring harness accessible, and make it simple to remove and maintain.
- Avoid routing through tiny structural holes and gaps, and when installing the wiring harness, handle it as little as possible.
- When assembling or using the harness, avoid routing and clipping in the operator's blind zone.
- Routing must provide defence against potential harm caused by common abuses such serving as a handhold and temporary support for test equipment.
- According to the environment and the harness's bending requirements, add more slack to the harness.
- Ensure the routing meets the clearance requirements with different surrounding parts.
- When routing close to bolted joints, avoid going over the bolts. The harness could be harmed or even pierced. Spare the panel mounting screws from the harness.
- Avoid harness routing near sharp edges, if not possible provide protection to the harness.
- The maximum distance between two clips on a straight branch is 200mm.
- If the harness is going to bend in several places, provide clips and clamps.
- The use of too many sheet-metal brackets should be avoided.
- The branch length should be more than 50 mm.
- Min distance between clip and branching point to be 25 mm.
- Min distance between two branch breakouts should be 50 mm
