Photo Realistic Rendering
Assembling and Rendering of American chopper,
Objective : To assemble the parts and rendering of American chopper.
Leveraged solidworks mating features to assemble individual components of Solidworks chopper. Used tools like parallel, coincident, fix, float, tangency, and advanced mating features like maximum and minimum angles to simulate a realistic look.
For rendering, I followed a series of steps. Used tangency mate between the tire and bottom plane to simulate the chopper touching the ground. Also used a coincident mate between the stand and the bottom plane to simulate a realistic bike look. Followed this by a series of rendering steps including setting up scenes, camera, and lighting. After all these steps I changed the quality and image settings on the Options menu and finally rendered my Chopper Image.
Overall, Solidworks offers powerful rendering options that can be used for documentation or presenting the product description to stakeholders who lack knowledge of engineering drawings.
