1)Title of the Project

Assembly of Chopper Model

2) Objective

You will be introduced with the surface modeling features.

1. You will be taught with the basics surface modeling tools such as lofted surface, trim surface and knit surface. You will also learn how to create a solid body from a surface.
2. You will be introduced with the Assembly modeling in SolidWorks and will learn the use of mates to constrain the degrees of freedom of various parts.
3. You will learn the applications of basic mechanical mates such as coincident, concentric, tangent and advanced mates such as width and angle mates.
4. By the end of this week, you will learn to design a Gas Tank for an American Chopper using a surface modeling tools.

The Solidworks CAD software is a mechanical design automation applicetion that lets designers quickly sketch out ideas, experiment with features and dimenstios, and produce models and detailed drawings.
