Design of American Chopper Bike
Objective
The main objective of this project is to learn tools that are used in part modeling, assembly using solid works.
To learn rendering of final assembly
Methodology
The American chopper bike is developed by following parts.

Transmission belt
It used to transmit the power between two pullies.
Features used: Extruded boss/base, fillet
Kick stand
Kick stand is a supporting part used in motor cycles and bicycles.
Features used: lofted boss/base, dome, extruded boss/base, extruded cut, fillet.
Chain
Chain is used to transmit power between engine and rear tire.
Features used: extruded boss/base, linear pattern, circular pattern, fillet, mirror, combine.
Rear fender
It’s a semi covering part of rear wheel
Features used: revolved boss/base, fillet and shell.
Rear wheel
The circular part of motor cycle used to move forward and backward using power from the engine.
Pedal
It is the part where foot of the motor cycle rider rests and brake and gear available.
Features used: extrude boss/base, revolve boss/base, dome, chamfer and fillet.
Front fender
It’s a semi covering part of front wheel.
Features used: revolve boss/base, split and shell.
Front wheel
Front wheel is used to move the motor cycle forward and backward.
Features used: revolved boss/base, extruded boss/base, extruded cut, revolved cut, circular pattern, mirror, combine and fillet.
Oil tank
Engine oil storage unit of motor cycle.
Features used: extruded boss/base, combine, fillet.
Front fork
Front fork used to guide the forward and backward motion of motor cycle.
Features used: extruded boss/base, revolved boss/base, revolved cut, projected curve, swept boss/base, combine, dome, mirror, fillet.
Chassis
The skeleton of vehicle which is used to assemble all the components together.
Features used: extruded boss/base, revolved boss/base, linear pattern, projected curve, swept boss/ base, dome, fillet.
Engine
Engine main part of a vehicle where is the power genearated.
Features used: extruded boss/base, extruded cut, revolved cut, circular pattern, projected curve, fillet.
Fuel tank
Fuel tank is used store the fuel which is used to power generation in engine
Features used: extruded boss/base, extruded cut, projected curve, fillet.
Assembly of American chopper bike
First chassis part inserted and after that each part inserted and fix with chassis.
Features used: insert and mate.
