American Chopper

Objective:

To learn solidworks and apply advance tools for creating a 3D Model of chopper. To get knowledge of tools such as Sketch blocks, Composite Curves to create 3D Curves, Pattern tools and how to create a photo realistic image using Photo view 360.

Introduction:

To create American chopper using solidworks.

Design Methodology:

To start with American chopper our 1^st goal was to identify what all components were to be modeled using solidworks part modeling and then after start with the assembly of the chopper using solidworks assembly tool.

Learned an advance tool of sketch blocks which is very helpful in creating predefined sketches very fast and minimizing the repetitive sketches to be drawn.

1. Engine Block

Learned a power full tool of projected curves to create an exhaust pipe for chopper.

1. Gas tank

Learned a powerful tool of composite curves without using surfacing tool for it.

Completed the American chopper project and learned various tools that help us in creating complex 3D modeling.
