- Diameter of cylinder = 10 mm
- Diameter of inlet port =2.5 mm
- Lenght of cylinder = 10 mm
- working fluid is air.
Geometry Of Flobench:-
- Arbitrary dimension of flobench valve
- Front section plane to check the model
- Close view of section plane near the valve

- Inlet Condition :-
- Outlet Condition
Parametric Setup For simulation :-
- Setup for input variables: valve lift (0.00002 m to 0.001 m for 9 values)
- Output parameter setup: Goal setup for calculation of mass flow rate at inlet and outlet valve.
- Simulation Scenario Setup : Scenario for parametric study is setup for 9 stages of valve lift.
- Result After Simulation : After running the parametrc study, required data is obtained to plot Valve lift Vs Mass flow rate curve.

- Velocity contour For 0.0001 m Valve lift
Comparison of Valve Lift Vs Mass Flow Rate :-
Obseravtion & Conclusion :-
- Parameters such as pressure, velocity and mass ow rate are critical for designing of flow bench , as the higher velocity rate improves combustion of the fuel and can produce higher power . This is a simulation of what happens in the suction stroke of an engine. The parameters are important such that it helps in reducing the effect of knocking in the engine .
- As the valve lift increases, mass flow rate linearly increases. The average velocity also increases with the increase in valve lift, but the difference between consecutive average velocities keeps on decreasing.
- The mass flow rate increases by increasing the valve lift and for uniform distribution of fluid, the pressure must be inceresed according to the viscosity of the fluid, so that the fluid can break into fine particles and becomes as finer as air.
