Introduction to REVIT concepts
1. From the file menu, create a new project (Structural / Architectural / Construction template ) and name the project appropriately
STEP-1: Go to file < New < Project

STEP-2: New project < Template file < Select the options what we need to be present a type of building

2. Save the new project file. Close and open using icons from file toolbar

3. From the architecture/ structure toolbar familiarize with options to draw a wall. Create a rectangular layout of walls of about 40’-0” X 35’-0”

4. From the Annotate toolbar use the aligned option to add dimensions to the layout

5. Use the properties browser to switch to different wall types

6. Create a 3D view from the view toolbar and save the view with the appropriate name
STEP-1: Switch the view from the default view to 3d view

STEP-2: Naming the view from the orientation of the building faces

7. Navigate through the 3D model using the view cube. Orbit/pan through the model layout created

8. Use the visibility settings option below to switch model to shaded, realistic, hidden lines options
a. REALISTIC:

b. SHADED

c. SHADED

9. Turn the sun path on and off to view shadings in the layout created

10. Use the Manage toolbar to enter project settings, project name, and project issue date (choose according to your convenience).

11. What is the Analyze toolbar used in Revit? How it is beneficial for design and modeling
If the architecture modelling as to be done, then the another step of structural designing path were to analyse the structural strength to apply the dead load, live load, finishers, seismic load, wind load, load combinations or summarize to take the value to find out the structural strength of the model
Benificiaries is to detailing from archiecture to structural design in one software in Revit.
12. Links that Revit supports to be linked to the model
Links may represents if we are doing the plan sketch from autocad software it will be allow to revit architecture due to working by the limitations.
13. Collaborate tab in Revit
If collabrate process is to create your own project has to be share with your collegue to encourage them to work the extra remodification by the easyway in worktogether.
