Hood design-Week 2

In hood inner panel we provide the emboss to increase the strength of the component and for the pedestrian saftey we make the cutouts from the inner panel the striker should be placed tangential on the circle which is formed by taking radius from the hinge axis we say it hood opening angle which is critical parameter we also have to provide sitting for mastic sealant on the inner panel mastic sealant provide the strength between inner and outer panel and work as joining component we also did the haming process.
