Foundation Design using SAFE

1. Model the isolated footing

Procedure -

First select isolated footing in safe software then and assign the size and thk to the column in the as given below

then Assign the material properties to it

then Assign Area spring 9000 kn/m2

then add load combination to it SLS and ULS

then run analysis

Displacement SLS-

It is within limit 40 mm

Displacement ULS

it is within ULC 150 mm

Punching shear design

It is less than 1 so safe

Steel reinforcement moment

its ok safe

2. PILE CAP

pROCEDURE

First select isolated footing in safe software then and assign the size and thk to the column in the as given below

Assign material to it

then draw pile cap and column in it and assign load on it

then Displacement SLS

Displacement ULS
