Fender Design
Fender:
Fender is is the front side part of the car which covers the engine and also the tyre. it also helps the pedestrain to get rid of the dust and small mud particles. and also provides saftey measures to the mud that not hit into the body of the car.
the types of the fenders are
- Full fender
- Half fender
Full fender type is not used now a days in the car. now we actually use only half fender model cars to aviod the weight and improve performance.
the fender comprises of the place for the
- A Piller mounting
- Sill mounting
- Baffle mounting
- Bumper mounting
And also a place should be provided for the fender to be mounted on the side of the engine.
The operations performed on the fender are drilling and punching.
the Dart should be provided for the each place where ever the strength for the sheet metal is being needed.
