CLASS A SURFACE

TOOLING AXIS

Since this component is little complex and has more phases. It is diffcult to tool the whole component with the one tooling axis.

Below main toolig axis is made to clear the features of clearance draft angle durig draft analysis. (Vertical axis)

Since side phases, does not clear the minimum draft angle, a SIDE CORE is used while manufacturing with its own tooling axis to clear the draft angle of the features which cant be cleared with main tooling axis as shown below (horizontal axis)

DRAFT ANALYSIS

(Using main yellow line as tooling direction)

(Using side core axis - pink line as tooling direction)

All the features have been cleared with both the tooling axis with the minimum draft of 2.9 degrees.
