Design of backdoor
AIM
Use the provided styling surface to come up with a back door design, use appropriate design methodologies, and provide the necessary reinforcements and embossed.
PROCEDURE

Designing the Outer Panel
The join operation was applied on the horizontal parts of the upper part of the backdoor with merging 0.01. Provide offset to the surface downward at a distance of 1.7mm. Use multiple extracts on the bottom part upper horizontal edge with no propagation. Join the multiple extract. Curve smooth the join. Extrude the curve at a distance of 4mm upwards. Provide a split to the offset with the extrude as a cutting element. Split the extrude with a split as a cutting element. Provide edge fillet to the newly made surface joint with 4mm. Join the two splits. Apply edge fillet off 3.75mm on the join.
Designing the Inner Panel
Extract the top sharp vertical edge of the backdoor. Create a 3-D curve offset with 20mm in the Z direction and downward along the extract. Create a plane along three points consider the two points of the curve offset with one point of the extract. Create a line of 25mm and then extrude it to 20mm on limit 1. Create a 3D curve along the axis along the middle of the door part with a 25mm distance. Create a plane as before. Create an extrude 25mm on limit 1.
Create a connecting curve with a point. Apply a multi-section surface joining the extrudes. Create a plane perpendicular to the right side of the door and do the same as before create a line horizontal and extrude. Join the previous surface to this new one by creating a new plane on the 2nd extruded surface horizontally. Create points in a specific direction and through them create spline joining them. Do the same for the other side also creating a specific path for joining it to the extrude. Create multi-section surfaces. Create the same in a specific path until it reaches a point where the start of the inner panel is right above it.
Create a boundary on the outermost edge along the inner panel part made. Sweep the very ist surface by the Y component, 10mm, forward. Continue to sweep in the required way as before till the end of the surface. Create a sweep on the very first sweep with X, 60 degrees, 82mm forward. Do the same way as before with appropriate measurements.
