Q] Residence plan: Sketch the layout of a residence as shown in figurel. Consider all dimensions as reference to sketch the unit plan. Also the text in the layout are only for reference. Assume the mixing dimensions. Also, refer the for size of the doors.

Aim:
- To draw the given residential plan in detail.
Introduction:
- Residential Layout is ideal for students and practitioners of urban design, planning, engineering, architecture and landscape seeking a comprehensive guide to the theory and practice of designing and laying out residential areas.
Commands used:
- Limmax command
- Limits command
- Zoom command
- Line command
- Dimlinear command
- Dimstyle command
- Units command
- Text command
- LW command
- Extend command
Procedure:
Step:-1
- First open the autocad, then we have to select the Limmax command for maximum limit of the autocad drawing screen.
- And select the limits command for minimum limit of the autocad screen.
- First off all we have to enter the line command and draw the line upwards with the length of 43.-6.5".
- Next draw the line forward with the length of 25' from the previous line.
- Next draw the line downwards with length of 43.-6.5" from the previous line.
- Next draw the line between the first line of first point and last line of last point.

Step:-2
- Next enter the offset command in the command box, then press enter.
- And select the lines which we have drawn previously and offset the lines to 9.0".

Step:-3
- Next we have to trim the entrance part of length 12'-4".
- Next offset the wall up to the length of 6' and offset that line to 9.0" as shown in figure.

Step:-4
- We draw a verical line of length 6'-8.0" from previous line and again draw another line left side of length 6'-4.0" to create the kitchen room.
- Then the figure with kitchen will be shown below.

Step:-5
- Next draw the toilet room of length 8.-3" and width of 4.-6", with line command and offset command.
- Next draw the another toilet room with length of 8'-1.5" and width of 4'-6".

Step:-6
- Draw the bed room 1 of length 11'-7.5" and width of 12.-0", with line command and offset command.
- Next draw the another bed room 2 with length of 11'-6" and width of 12'-0"
- Draw the stairs left side of parking with 1' tread and 6' riser, that is shown in figure clearly.

Step:-7
- Next we have to draw the doors with the given dimensions for Dl, D2, D3.
- And also give the names for the rooms in the residential building.

- After Drawing the doors finally we have to put the dimensions for every part in the residential plan which we have drawn in autocad.
Result:
- The given residential plan is drawn successfully in autocad.

Q] Sketch the seating plan for an outdoor canopy. Assume the dimensions for the seating. Also, consider the dimensions in mm.

Aim:
- To draw the given seating plan for an outdoor conopy in detail
Introduction:
- A canopy is an overhead roof or else a structure over which a fabric or metal covering is attached, able to provide shade or shelter from weather conditions such as sun, hail, snow and rain.
- A canopy can also be a tent, generally without a floor.
- The seating plan of oudoor canopy is places in many places, like receptions, restaurants etc,.
Commands used:
- Limmax command
- Limits command
- Zoom command
- Circle command
- Arc command
- Dimstyle command
- Units command
- Text command
- LW command
Procedure:
Step:-1
- First we have to open the autocad and select the limits of lower left corner and the upper right corner.
- Next select the unit command for setting the units as decimals and precision as 0.00.
- Next draw the circle of radius 1398.00

Step:-2
- After creating the first circle, again we have to select the circle command.
- Next we have to draw the circle with the radius of 452.00 inside the circle.

Step:-3
- Next here we have to draw the rectangle inside the first circle, then we have to enter the fillet command and select the rectangle corner to fillet it.
- Next we select the arc command to create arc left side of the rectangle.
- Again then create two triangles both sides of the previous rectangle.
- Then draw another rectangle left side of rectangle, make an arch with the third rectangle.
- Finally the seating was created.

Step:-4
- After creating the seating, then we have to copy the seating and paste to opposite side.
- Next similarly copy the seating and paste to the left side of the previous seating.
- Next again copy the seating and paste the seating to the opposite side.

- After that put the dimensions for every part in the drawing.
Result:
- The given seating plan for an outdoor canopy is drawn successfully in autocad.

Q] Sketch the part plan for the toilets and utilities room. Consider the outer wall thickness as 300mm and inner wall thickness as 150mm. Also, assume the missing dimension, Texts, dimensions, and hatches are only for references. Also, symbols for toilets and w/c are also for references.

AIM:
- To draw the part plan for the toilets and utilities in detail.
INTRODUCTION:
- A toilet room usually consists of obviously a toilet, Lavatory and all of the accessones, such as grab bars and dispensers
- There are many layouts of this type but we will explore one very simple design and the code requirements for each
- The utility room has several uses but typically functions as an area to do laundry.
- This room contains laundry equipment such as a washing machine, tumble dryer ironing board and clothes iron
- The room is also used for closet organization and storage.
- The room would normally contain a second coat closet which is used to store seasonal clothing such as winter costs or clothing which are no longer used daily.
COMMANDS USED:
- Limmax command
- Limits command
- Zoom command
- Line command
- Dimlinear command
PROCEDURE:
Command: UN UNITS
- The lines are drawn using xline command in both x and y direction.
Command: xline
