Creating a Layout, Section and Elevation with dimensions using AutoCad

1. Walls (Exterior and Interior)

Wall Thickness: Exterior Wall- 230mm, Interior Wall: 150 mm (Wherever Required)

2. Doors and Windows: Assume the size of the doors and window.

3. Stairs: Tread-200mm, Riser-145.75mm

AIM;

1. Create the Plan and Sections as shown in the Figures. Use proper dimension techniques and dimension styles to document the project.

First create a new autocad file

Construction of walls in AutoCAD

Using commands in AutoCAD Mline.

Using commands in AutoCAD Mledit.

Application of AutoCAD commands such as: Line, Circle, Xline, etc.

Using basic editing commands in AutoCAD: Copy, Move, Mirror, etc.

Editing objects in AutoCAD using grips.

Object Grouping. Group command in AutoCAD.

Align objects. Align command in AutoCAD.

Application Break command in AutoCAD.
