Challenge 7 : Concept Modelling of Steering Wheel

TITLE: CONCEPT MODELING OF A STEERING WHEEL

OBJJECTIVE: The main objective is to design a concept model of a steering wheel of a car.

INTRODUCTION

For making this concept model we are taking an image of a steering wheel as a reference.

DESIGN METHODOLOGY

DESCRIPTION

After placing the canvas image we have to start drawing curves as outline. First we have to make the steering circle and then continue to build from that. After making the steering circle make it into a 3D. After that make the make the horn surface. Then taking it as a base and continue to make surface joining the horn and steering wheel.

CONCLUSION

After completing this challenge a good knowledge on how to use the tools is acquired. This helped in understanding more about the tools and also how to visualise using images.
