ANS 1 : 885.674 K

ANS 2 : We can see from the above plots that the solution has converged as the residuals are reducing with each iteration. And the heat is transfering through conduction ( between the processor and the fins ) and convection ( between fins and the air ).

ANS 3 : The heat tranfer coeff between the fins is between ( 576-1152)

ANS 4 : The potential hotspots are:

1) fins and air

2) processor

3) front end of the solid body

ANS 1 : 850.94 K

ANS 2 : We can see from the above plots that the solution has converged as the residuals are reducing with each iteration. And the heat is transfering through conduction ( between the processor and the fins ) and convection ( between fins and the air ).

ANS 3 : The heat tranfer coeff between the fins is between ( 576-1145)

ANS 4 : The potential hotspots are:

# CONCLUSION AND COMPARISON :

As we can see from the plots and graphs that the baseline mesh has the maximum temperature of (885.674)K and the maximum heat tranfer coeff of (1152).

On the other hand the refined mesh has the maximum temperatre (850.94)K and the maximum heat transfer coeff of (1145) also the result is more finer and thus more precise.
