Benchmarking
In this project I'm going to suggest a car for Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhi under his budget on road for his purpose of traveling distance around 500 km.
Some suggestion car for him with his budget:
- Nissan kicks XE diesel engine
- Maruti suzki Scross 1.3L petrol engine
- Tata Nixon
- Suzuki vitara brezza AGS
- Mahindra XUV 3000 1.5w6 etc.,
Some mechanical characteristics of cars:
- Advance BIW Design and lightweight of carbody for movement of speed.
- BS6 engine used in car according to government nomes.
- Smooth Operating car and comfort to drive.
- Good milage cars.
Car with their Pros and Cons:
1.Nissan Kicks:
Pros:
- Powerful 1497CC Diesel engine
- large width compared to other cars
Cons:
- less milage
- lesseer space rear seat
2.Maruti suzuki S-cross:
pros:
- good mileage of 23.65kmpl
- larger lenght.
- decent cost and boot space of 375L.
Cons:
- The engine of lesser capacity of 1248cc
- lesser height of 1595mm
3.Tata nexon:
Pros:
- Decent aesthetic and sport look
- decent boot space 350L
- Automatic transmissions.
Cons:
- rear seat space are less
4.Suzuki Vitara Brezza:
Pros:
- Automatic transmissions.
- good height of 1640mm compared to other vehicle
- very advanced mechanisum.
Cons:
- The engine of lesser capacity 1248cc
- costier in segment
- ground clearance of 198mm.
5.Mahindra XUV 300:
Pros:
- Powerful 1497cc Diesel engine.
- large width compared to other cars.
Cons:
- less milage
- less ground clearance
- boot space is less compare to other segment.
Conclusion:
I will suggest you based on his requirement is Nissan kicks. Because it is manual transmission and budget is bit high. It has best ground clearance of 210mm and largest boot space.
If the buyer prefers automatic transmission over manual then, I would suggest Tata nexon, it has a 1497cc trubocharged engine with 3 driving modes. Economy city spot models.
It also decent ground clearance of 209mm and boot capacity 350L. It gives a good mileage of 23.97 kmpl also euro NCAP 5-star rating for safety.
