Benchmarking:
Benchmarking is defined as the process of measuring products, services, and processes against those of organizations known to be leaders in one or more aspects of their operations. Benchmarking provides necessary insights to help you understand how your organization compares with similar organizations, even if they are in a different business or have a different group of customers.
Benchmarking can also help organizations identify areas, systems, or processes for improvements—either incremental (continuous) improvements or dramatic (business process re-engineering) improvements.
Technical benchmarking is performed by design staff to determine the capabilities of products or services, especially in comparison to the products or services of leading competitors. For example, on a scale of one to four, four being best, how do designers rank the properties of your organization’s products or services? If you cannot obtain hard data, the design efforts may be insufficient, and products or services may be inadequate to be competitive.
Competitive benchmarking compares how well (or poorly) an organization is doing with respect to the leading competition, especially with respect to critically important attributes, functions, or values associated with the organization’s products or services. For example, on a scale of one to four, four being best, how do customers rank your organization’s products or services compared to those of the leading competition? If you cannot obtain hard data, marketing efforts may be misdirected and design efforts misguided.
Tata nexon pros and cons :
PROS
- 5-litre diesel engine to comply with the stringent BS6
- This turbocharged mill produces 108bhp of power and 260Nm of torque
- Spacious and feature packed cabin
- It, in fact, started with the Nexon as it was the first model to receive a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP. Also, it's not just for the tremendous road presence, but the Nexon has been appreciated for its tough construction as well.
CONS
- Quality can be better
- Small niggles
Renault Kiger Pros and Cons:
PROS:
- 0-litre naturally-aspirated (NA) and its turbo-powered version.
- If you think you'll find the entry-level car with its NA 72bhp engine swamped in traffic, you’ll be much better off going for its turbocharged version instead.
- This car has much bigger boot space than other cars
CONS:
- If you are in the market for a diesel vehicle, Kiger has nothing for you.
- High speed handling
- Noisy cabin
Hyundai Venue Pros And Cons :
PROS:
- Most refreshing design
- Interior quality, fit and finish top notch
- 0L GDI Turbo petrol engine best in segment
- DCT auto box most advanced in segment
- Blue Link feature unique and very useful
- Priced very competitively
CONS:
- Rear washer and wiper available in top trim only
- 60:40 split seats and rear armrest also only in top trim
- Rear seat legroom least in segment
- 2 Petrol feels lethargic
MARUTI SUZUKI S-cross:
Pros:
- Build quality: S-Cross car has a solid build quality which makes the car feel like a proper premium crossover
- Ride quality:Makes you feel comfortable and it keeps the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross cabin composed when driving on rough roads.
- Powerful: S-Cross car delivers high power torque and good ground clearance that gives value for your money.
- Fuel efficient:The addition of SHVS to the engine setup will lead to improved fuel consumption. There is also improved drivability at low speeds.
Cons:
- Subtle design: The front part of the car has a more aggressive look and its overall design around the vehicle has subtle look.
- Heavy for U-turns: At slow speed, you may experience an S-Cross steering weight that makes the vehicle feel too heavy when making U-turns or when entering a perpendicular line.
- Slippery steering wheel: The leather-wrapped steering wheel makes it feel slippery on the hands.
CONCLUSION:
Out of these four vehicles I would suggest pugazhendhi to go with maruti Suzuki S-cross. Because s-cross has quite a good powerful engine, bootcapacity is also quite good and mileage is 18.55 km/l. After he bought this car the only problem he faces is ground clearance and it’s a bit low compared to other vehicles. I suggested this car because of its ride quality which makes him feel more comfortable than other 3 cars.
