1. Divergence- It is used to tell us about net fluid flow in an given condition. It tells us about that whether the fluid is flowing from a source (in this case it is positive)and if the net fluid is entering into the source than the divergence will be negative.

2. Gradient- gradient basically deal with the direction change of magnitude of scaler property. Now lets take an simple example of Aircraft wings where air flows rate or pressure will change on aircraft body with respect to altitude change. Hence it signifies the change with respect to one point to another.

3. Curl- It tells us about the circulation of a element about a point. A whirpool is a good example of curl process where the water is revelving aroud a point. it can also be called circulation per unit area.

4. Rank of Matrix- Take an example of A[3X3] matrix. Now the rank of this matrix is either 3 or less than 3. Or take an example of [RXD] matrix. If R is greater than D than maximum Rank of matrix is D or vice versa.If there is no element inside matrix than its rank will be zero.
