AIM:
1. To Run the case SI engine single cylinder at 1800 rpm and list down important parameters
2. Increase the power output at 3600 rpm by 10%
PROCEDURE:
I. The case is set at 1800 RPM.
RESULTS:
air flow rate = 24.64 kg/h
BMEP = 9.47 bar
BSFC = 239.17
In cylinder pressure(avg of max cylinder pressure) = 48.89 bar
II. To increase the brake power by 10%
brake power before increase = 16.69
brake power can be increased by increasing the bore size.
From case-1 to case-5 the increase in brake power is 10.42%.
