• GT-ISE is the interface of GT to build models and simulation.it helps to create the model step by step and control the settings of each individual components like cylinder, pipe, valves ,etc
• GEM3D is the module that allows import 3d model and then creates 1d models for processing in gt-suite
• GT-POST is module that helps to view modified results after a complete simulation.
• VTDESIGN for valve train design and cam profiles.
• GT-SPACECLAIM is used for creating, editing and importing 3d models.
• OPTIMIZATION This helps to optimize the model according to the user input

• Time Control Flag

The time control flag gives the following two options

1. periodic
2. continuous

• Time step and solution control

It has three main parts

1. flow control explicit
2. Flow control implicit
3. flow control

• Integrator/solver
• This allows selecting the type of solver for the ODE

a.RUN SETUP

• Time Control

This option gives to control the time duration settings and other options to control the duration settings of the simulation.

• Initialization

This tab allows to setup the initial conditions of the simulation.

• Flow Control

This tab is used to specify the flow with in the model and specify solver settings related to modelling of flow.

• ODE Control

This tab is used to set the solution method for solving the ODEs of the model.

• Signal Control

This tab can be used to specify the independent Control in the model.

• Thermal Control

This tab controls the settings of the thermal behaviour at the wall only, it does not control the thermal behaviour of the fluid.

• Convergence RLT

This tab is used when convergence issues play a key role in simulation
