Assignment 1-2D Meshing Challenge

Aim - to develop a mid surface and mesh the given three models and passing the quality criteria

procedure-

1.Import the model to hypermesh usig the import options
2.check for any free edges or any disconectivity in the model
3.toggle the edges where it might fail for the min legth criteria
4.enter the quality criteria in the preference tab - quality settings
5.extract the midsurface in the geom - midsurface - skin offfset method

part 2 midsurface

i chose this method because of the constant thickness of the model and this extacted a good mid surface

6. after the mid start meshing part by part using the
2d - automesh - select the mesh size - 5

7.make sure the mesh passes the quality criteria given in the question

8.assign thickness in the connector window and select the mid- and assign a thickness in the
propert tab
the thickness is given in mannually in the property tab and later asssigned to the mid
