Objective of this task

To carry out 2D meshing of this 3 parts.

Steps to carry out task

Initially I import hm model in hypermesh 17.
Carried out geometry clean up using options like F11 –fillet surface, unslit surface, toggle edges etc
After geometry clean-up ,extraction of mid-surface using –Geom –midsurface from this option extraced mid-surface .
Holes will be neglected with in 5mm.
Capturing all features .
After meshing checking like F10-quality,freeedges,normals ,duplicates,connectivities.
After we assigning properties according to the thickness of the 3 parts .
carried out 2D mesh with target length 5mm, min 3.5mm max 7mm

Results

As per the requirement we performed 2D meshing for 3 parts.
