Assignment 1

1.Part1--> The model was openned in HM.Model was reviwed w.r.t geomerty.Geometry cleanup was done on the original cad surface.All the free edges were converted in to shared edges.MIssing surface was filled using filler surface option.Duplicate surfaces were removed.Geometry was made ready for midsurf extraction.Midsurface was extracted,midsurface was again subjected geometry cleanup to suite for minimum length criteria.The holes dia less than 5mm were ignored,meshing was carried out as per the required quality criteria.Basic material and Properties were assigned.

2.Part2-->The same above procedure was followed so that model clip repair was finished by standard operating procedure.Since model was quarter symmetric,only quarter portion was considered for geometry cleanup and for meshing purpose.

3,Part3-->THe same above procedure was followed so that model mounting bracket was finished by SOP.Since model was quarter symmetric,only quarter portion was considered for geometry cleanup and for meshing purpose.
