Assembly of Yacht
Project Report
Yacht
BY M HARISH KUMAR
AIM:
- To create a model and assembly parts of an “Yacht”.
OBJECTIVES:
- To sketch and model different parts of Yacht in solid works and to know about create model and different rendering options.
PROCEDURE:
BLUEPRINT:
- A blueprintis a reproduction of a technical drawing using a contact print process on light-sensitive sheets

PROPELLER:
- A propelleris a device with a rotating hub and radiating blades that are set at a pitch to form a helical spiral, that, when rotated, performs an action which is similar to Archimedes' screw. It transforms rotational power into linear thrust by acting upon a working fluid, such as water or air.
Tools used:
- Spline
- Loft
- Split
- Extrude
- Cut extrude
- Dome

RADAR:
- Radaris a detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, angle, or velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft.
Tools used:
- Sketch
- Offset entities
- Extrude
- Dynamic mirror
- Split

HULL:
- A hullis the watertight body of a ship or boat. The hullmay open at the top (such as a dinghy), ... This is often countered by using heavy interior ballast on sailing They are best suited to sheltered inshore waters.
Tools used:
- Surface extrudes
- Fillet
- Mirror
- Extrude
- Surface trim

FRONT SEAT:
- The front seats of the yacht is the main seat which we get a beautiful view of the entire journey.
Tools used:
- Extrude
- Fillet
- Mirror
- Dome
- Chamfer

MIDDLE SEAT:
- It is used for having a better experience of attending parties and interior space.
Tools used:
- Extrude
- Fillet
- Chamfer
- Mirror

REAR SEAT:
- Rear seats are used to get an comfortable place to enjoy the presence of the waves.
Tools used:
- Boss extrudes
- Cut extrude
- Fillet
- Mirror
- Knit
- Combine

SUPERSTRUCTURE:
- A superstructureis an extended construction of any building or platform that rises above the rest of the building or platform in a distinct manner. ... Thus, superstructuremeans to add a construction to an already existing structure. In ships this is the name given to the part of the ship that emerges from the deck.
Tools used:
- Boss extrudes
- Cut extrude
- Fillet
- Chamfer
- Knit surfaces
- linear pattern
- Combine

RADARMAST:
- Similar to our Power Mounts Plus, these mounts are constructed of high-quality marine grade aluminum and treated with an anodized primer then finished with brilliant white powder coated finish.
Tools used:
- Boss extrudes
- Cut extrude
- Revolve
- Dome
- Combine
- Sweep
- Mirror

GARAGEDOOR:
- A garage dooris a large dooron a garage that opens either manually or by an electric motor (a garage door opener). ... Less commonly, some garage doors slide or swing horizontally. Doors are made of wood, metal, or fiberglass, and may be insulated to prevent heat loss.
Tools used:
- Boss extrudes
- Fillet
- Chamfer
- Mirror
- Split

DIFFERENT VIEWS OF ASSMEBLY:

ISOMETRIC VIEW ASSEMBLY

FRONT VIEW ASSEMBLY

SIDE VIEW ASSEMBLY

TOP VIEW ASSEMBLY
CONCLUSION:
- In these challenges I have learned a lot of things like
- Projecting curves
- Rendering
- Different kinds of mates
- Combining different material
- Mirror
- Sweep
- Dome
- Chamfer
- This helped to improve my skills in solid works.
