Week 1 and Week 2 of Ultimate Solidworks course

1- Transmission Belt

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Sd_qqgoJpOKRNt6vlVhieBEh842ui1bd

Steps:

1. Open predefined part template file

2. select plane to start sketching

3. Relations between certain sketch entities with other entities are important which I noticed (I used to it in Autocad already) in the course of sketching

4- Fully difining of all instances: the colored guidance is important to follow. Blue colored means undrdefined, Yellow means there is an issue. Red means there is no way to solve the issue. Overdefined dimensions of instanses give either yellow or red colore warning/error.

5- Sketching by line/cirle tool and using the editing tools to sketch the belt pathline and offet it to define the thickness of belt

6- Extrude the sketch to produce the belt 3d shape

7- Creat fillet through edge/face.

8- Solid bodies naming

9- How to set-up Features options

0- how to handle the apperance features

11- save the part

2. Kickstand

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1JqUaVF7YD2iEhB7-Rn_c8whbGQi3n5m0

1- Name the planes in a noticable manner

2- Start sketching at Front Plane view

3. Sketch the longitidunal path of Kickstand by using ellips/spline (how to creat arbitrary plane to sketch easily at different direction)

4- Use of lofted Boss/base command to creat 3d shape out the sketch

5- Creat dome at one both end of 3d-shape

6- Use split command to cut body at small end of 3d-shape

7- Cut-off at larg end of 3d-shape by extrude-cut

8- Give appearance through appearance command to the 3d solid body

9- save the part

3. Front Fender

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jnkCA8-qNegqHqb483r8vcRoEFWLx0o5

1. Name the planes in a sensible manner

2- Sketching by section of front-fender by drawing a 3point arc and offseting. Then setting the dimensions and defining relations to poistion the arc correctly either vetically or horizonatly

3- Define axis by construction line for revolving the sketch

4- Revolve the sktech at both diretion

5- give appearnce to the 3d-solid body

6- Go to the center plane to sketch for creating the shape at the tip of front-fender 3d-shape

7- use dynamic mirror to save time in skteching symetric sketch

8- Use extrude-cut to cut the 3d-shape by the define sketch

9- Use same steps as above for bottom part of 3d-shape to creat the bottom shape

10- Apply fillets to the edges through the faces

11- save

4. Rear fender

The similar steps as explained for Front-fender used for Rear-fender
