Week 1 Stress Concentration on a Plate with hole
a. Rubber with the least Young\'s modulus and highest poission ratio will have the least resistance to deformation. Low Young\'s modulus relates to high strains for low levels of applied stress. Higher Poission ratio implies higher transverse contraction as a response to a parrticular longitudanal extension.
b. Since concrete has the least poission ratio, it would have the least transverse contraction strain due to longitudanal extension.
