Underbody Coating
Underbody Coating:
A vehicle body is made of various metals and when these metals exposed to the water, moisture, dirt, and road salt causes stress crack formation. Once the underbody coating is damaged it spreads over wider areas and it effects the efficiency or performance of the vehicle. In most of the Europian and the American continents road salt is used during frost and salt solution corrode the underbody which cause holes or damage the underbody. To protect this, Underbody coating is needed which provide long term protection from corrosion and rust to vehicle´s underbody.

Purpose of underbody coating:
- Minimizes Sound: It minimizes the sound from underneath the vehicle resulting a noiseless and smooth driving.
- Heat Insulation: It insulates the interior of the vehicle from extreme temperature from beneath the vehicle providing a comfortable experience.
- Anti.Chipping property: If any stone hits the coating it does not get chipped away hence protects the underbody from exposure to water.
- Rust Prevention: When underbody of vehicle´s is exposed to rust, water, or moisture it corrodes the body. Using underbody coating provides the extra protection against rust to the body.
Types of Underbody coatings:
There are some types of underbody coatings
- Rubberized underbody coating
- Polyurethane underbody coating
- Way or paraffin-based underbody coating
- Asphalt-based underbody coating
