Features:

  • Draw 2d sketch
  • Extrude
  • Extrude Cut
  • Thin Extrude
  • Revolve
  • Revolve cut
  • Mirror
  • Sweep
  • Dome
  • Fillet
  • Chamfer
  • Projected curve

Steps Involved:

  • Create new part
  • Insert the 2d sketch picture
  • Rename it to blue print chopper
  • Draw 2d sketch accordingly
  • Go to feature > curve > projected curve > select both curve > ok
  • Create another projected curve
  • Feature > swept boss/base > select curve which is created > ok
  • Mirror it across the midplane chassis select the feature which we have created
  • Draw the 2d fully defined sketch accordingly
  • Feature > extrude > 22mm reverse
  • Feature > extrude cut > upto next > ok
  • Next apply chamfer of distance distance 90mm and 44mm
  • Apply 25 mm fillet to the outside edges
  • Create reference plane from the midplane chassis to the vertex
  • Go to feature > swept boss/base > select the path > click ok
  • Feature > extrude > 223mm > ok
  • Apply dome of 10mm
  • Create new reference plane to the end of the spline
  • Go to feature > swept boss > select the path click ok
  • Then split the remaining body
  • Again create reference plane to the end of the spline
  • Go to feature > swept boss > select the path > ok
  • Again use split tool to cut the bodies
  • Go to feature > revolved boss > select the construction line > ok
  • Again use split tool to cut the remaining bodies
  • Go to feature > boss extrude > select direction 1&2 > upto next > ok
  • Apply 2mm fillet
  • Feature > extrude > offset 165mm > for direction 1 > midplane extrude of 10mm > ok
  • Again use split feature to cut the bodies
  • Apply fillet of 20mm and 1mm radius
  • Mirror it across the midplane
  • Combine all three
  • Apply 3 mm fillet
  • Insert reference plane up 308mm
  • Change the appearance to painted car sienna

  1. Engine

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WLIe5O-HClHdvewLtW6h_JbOGqPw2l6_

Features:

  • Draw a 2d sketch
  • Extrude
  • Extrude cut
  • Thin extrude
  • Chamfer
  • Projected curve
  • Linear pattern
  • Circular pattern
  • Fillet
  • Mirror
  • Dome
  • Sweep

Steps Involved:

  • Create new part
  • Insert the sketch picture
  • Draw the sketch
  • Go to feature > extrude boss > midplane extrude of 200mm
  • Feature > select circle > from surface > 50mm
  • Feature > extrude 80mm circle > surface > blind 40mm extrude
  • Go to feature > boss extrude > midplane > 150mm
  • Apply fillet of 50mm
  • Draw the 2d sketch
  • Go to feature > revolve > ok
  • Turn on temporary axis
  • Again make the revolve about the temporary axis which we have created
  • Draw a 2d sketch
  • Make the circular pattern of 40 instances on the circular edge front pulley
  • Make the circular pattern of 44 instances on the rear pulley
  • Make the circular pattern of 12 instances on the front pulley
  • Go to feature > cut extrude > offset of 250mm > offset from surface > select dome face > offset it 3mm
  • Repeat it for another pulley
  • Apply chamfer of 3mm and 45 deg
  • Apply 1mm fillet to the all open edges
  • Draw the 2d sketch
  • Go to feature > boss extrude > midplane extrude of 150mm > ok
  • Again go to feature > boss extrude > select small area > midplane extrude of 110mm > ok
  • Draw 2d sketch on the reference plane which we have created
  • Go to feature > extrude > upto vertex > ok
  • Feature > boss extrude > blind of 125mm > ok
  • Now apply the chamfer of 90mm amd 15mm
  • Apply the fillet of 15mm the all edges
  • Draw the 2d sketch
  • Go to feature > extrude cut > offset of 26mm > direction1 8mm > ok
  • Do the linear pattern spacing of 16mm and no of instances of 14
  • Apply 2mm fillet to all internal and external edges
  • Apply 10mm fillet
  • Apply 5mm fillet
  • Extrude > 2mm > ok
  • Apply dome of 2.5mm
  • Go to feature > extrude > midplane > 20mm
  • Apply 10 mm fillet
  • Use split tool and cut the bodies
  • Go to mirror > select body > across right plane > ok
  • Apply 25mm fillet
  • Apply fillet of 5mm
  • Feature > extrude > 15mm
  • Go to feature > select bodies > upto next > ok
  • Apply fillet of 2.2mm
  • And do the circular pattern of 21 instances on the face
  • Apply chamfer of 24mm and 75mm to the base edge
  • Apply chamfer of 5mm and 45deg
  • Create swept boss
  • Mirror it across the right plane
  • Create new reference plane
  • Go to feature > swept boss > select 45mm circle
  • Do the revolved boss across the construction line
  • Apply 5mm fillet
  • Go to feature > extrude cut > offset from surface > 2mm
  • Draw a 2d sketch
  • Go to feature > curves > projected curve > select 2 sketches > ok
  • Make another projected curve
  • Make both curves as composite curve
  • Go to feature > swept boss > select composite curve > ok
  • Similarly make another composite curve for another exhaust
