Steady state simulation with fixed embedding of flow over a throttle body

Steady-state simulation of air flow over a throttle body is carried out with the valve completely open.

Boundary conditions at Inlet is a pressure of 1.5 bar at 300K and that an outlet is 1 bar at 300K. This difference of 0.5 bar will drive the flow.

Simulation Run time is 15000 cycles, with variable time steps.

The minimum time step is 1e-9 with maximum of 1 seconds. The flow is compressible and density based steady-state solver is used.

The base grid size is 2mm in X, Y and Z respectively.

For better visualisation of the flow around the valve, a fixed embedding of factor 3 (refines the base size by a factor of 3) for 2 layers is chosen.
