Simulation of Crank Mechanism in the XY plane for various cases and loads using BISTOP function
1) For the type of joint that must be given at P2 (Joint C) so that the system doesn\'t have redundancy is a translational joint.
The final degree of freedom of the system of the model is found out to be -3.
DOF(Rev joints)= -(2*5)=-10
DOF(Inline joint)= -(1*5)=-5
DOF(Rigid bodies)= (6*2)= 12
Final DOF= (-10)+(-5)+(12)=-3

2)The maximum velocity between pt 2 and ground body is found to be 5m/s. The DOF of the model is found to be -4.
DOF(Rev joints)= -(2*5)=-10
DOF(Inline joint)= -(1*5)=-5
DOF(Rigid bodies)= (6*2)= 12
DOF(Motion)= -1
Final DOF= (-10)+(-5)+(12)+(-1)=-4

3)The highest torque value at point 0 is 360.51Nm. The range of motion, in this case, is constrained to below the horizontal axis at point 0 due to the force value added.

4) The Y-Axis shows the BISTOP torque value. The maximum value of the torque is 1056.304 Nm. The reaction torque increases up to a certain value and then decreases as the slider moves forwardfolllwiing a paarabolic curve.
