COMPARE RESULTS WITH GIVEN SI ENGINE MODELING USING GT POWER TOOL
Engine specifications:-
- Bore = 70.8mm
- Stroke = 79mm
- 103kw@6000Rpm
- 145N-m@3600Rpm
- 4-cylinder SI engine
Now we Compare the results with GT output for the above following data:-
- Explore GUI of GT SUIT the main page will get open and then we go to the examples and lot of examples are open but we are intersted in Gasoline under gasoline select SI_4cyl_GDI.gtm on this double click the file will get open on the GT-ISE 2019 the below figure will show.
- After that we go to the case setup to setting up the different speed for different cases as shown below figure.
- After completing the case set up move on to the engine for checking up various geometry i,e we check out for the firing order,Cylinder geometry etc. In Cylinder geometry we add the values as we taken above data.
- After compelting that now we RUN the model and GT-Post will get open for post-processing the results.
The following are the results we get:-
For
D = 70.8mm
S = 79mm
Case 1:-
Case 2:-
114.1N-m@3600rpm
Post process and take snaps for following data
- PV and log PV diag
- in cylinder pressure and burn rate
- valve mass flow and pumping loop
PV Diagram:-
case 1:-6000rpm
case 2:-3600rpm
valve mass flow:-
case 1:-6000rpm
case 2:-3600rpm
pumping loop:-
log PV diag:-
cylinder pressure:-
