Project Transient simulation of flow over a throttle body
Transient simulation of flow over a throttle body
The project shows the flow of air in a throttle body at approximately 1atm pressure difference.
The throttle body moves as follows:
- From 0 to 2 ms the valve should rotate by 25 degrees.
- From 2 to 4ms it should stay at 25 degrees.
- After which by 8ms the valve should get back to its original position
First, we clean the given model of excessive geometry and cover the inlet and outlet areas with a surface for inflow and outflow boundaries. Also, we check the normals are facing the flow domain.
