1. Create a new part model and draw a circle of 50mm dia. Extrude it to 1000mm.
2. Go to Shell option and select the both side of the cylinder, and give tickness as 3 mm.
3. Then create a new sketch by selecting thetop view of the cylinder and draw three lines at a distance of 85, 90, 95 percentages from the inlet.
4. Go to flow simulation and create lids so that a closed area is made.
5. Click on new in flow simulation toolbar.
6. Then give the input data and go to general setting.
7. Select water as a fluid and maintain the initial conditions as they are.
8. Right click on boundary conditions and select insert boundary conditions. Give static pessure for the outlet side and velocity of 2.28E-03 m/s (from application of formula of reynolds number for 100) at the inlet. And then give the body of the cylinder as areal wall.
9. In the Results tree, right click o the XY plots and then insert by selecting the three line probes underthe velocity parameter.
10. Right click on project and seect new parametric study.
11. Then in te scenerio tab create 2 mor copies.
12. change inlet velocity to 2.28E-02 an also to 2.28E-01 m/s.
13. Run
