Pipe Flow Simulation
To normalize the plots, the graphs were exported to excel and all the velocities were didvided by their respective inlet velocities.
Reynolds number (RN) = fluid velocity (u)* Inside diameter of pipe / kinematic viscosity (v)
v = 1.5111*10^-5, at 293 K from http://theengineeringmindset.com/properties-of-air-at-atmospheric-pressure/
RN canbe calculated, and inlet velocity canbe determined to be used in Solidworks.
In this experiment, the inlet velocity came to be as 0.03775 m/s, 0.3775 m/s, and 3.775 m/s for 100, 1000, and 10000 RN respectively.
