Motionview Basics
1. Collectors-
When you have to mention the connectivities for Body, graphics in panel area; there are yellow buttons where you can click and select respected entities like points, joints, vectors, axes, etc.
2. Creation of Points-
Model Browser→Points→Right Click→Add Point→Give label(Point name)→Give Variable(use underscore)→Click Apply(for multiple points) or Click OK→Go to Panel area→Go to Properties→Define the XYZ coordinates→Use Fx key for parametrization→Done
3. Design time Entities are the one which are used to build model in Motionview.
Run time Entities are those used in MotionSolve.
4. There are 3 types of graphics available in Motionview.
1) Implicit graphics- Basic graphics like point, bodies which very important in starting model build
2) Primitive graphics- These are specially used for the appearence of the model that can be easily understood to user. It includes various shapes like cylinder, sphere, cube, cone, etc.
3) External graphics- Its basically used in Flex body simulations , where the bodies are considered to be made of infinite small sized parts of same shape.
5. Parametrization is the process to relate two entities, forces by any algebric equation or some special expressions. It helps to build the models which are having same repeated operations to be done.
