Graphs are plottted for diffrent grid point values to study the variation of the curve when the number of grid points are changed. The grid point values chosen for this simulation are N= 31,90,150 and 300.
- GRAPH PLOT SHOWING THE VARIATION ON NON-DIMENSIONAL TEMPERATURE WITH POSITION.
1. N=31
Total Simulation time for both conservative and non-conservative = 5 mins
.
2. N=90
Total Simulation time for both conservative and non-conservative = 10 mins
3. N=150
Total Simulation time for both conservative and non-conservative = 30 mins
4. N=300
Total Simulation time for both conservative and non-conservative = 60 mins
It can be observed from the above plots, that as the numbe rof grid points increases, the acurracy of the result increases. In our simulation, it is observed that conservative form appears closer to the actual result.

CONCLUSIONS:
constant distribution is obtained in the case of conservative form whereas in the case of non conservative form erraneous oscillations are observed at the inflow and outflow boundaries.
Mass flow rate vaules in the case of conservative form seem to fall in line with the analytical values. conservative form is better at conserving mass.
Non- conservative form yeilds lesser residuals.
The accuracy of the overall result is better for non-conservative form than conservative form.
The condervative form outputs are grid independant . though a slight increase in the accuracy of the vaules are observed, i is still not as accurate as non-conservative form.
