EXPLORING GUI OF GT-SUITE
GUI OF GT-POWER:
The characterisation of GT-power is basically consists of ;
*TEMPLATES
*OBJECTS
*PARTS
The parameters available in GT-suite are:
*FLOW
*MECHANICAL
example:
The basic subdivisions of parameters are;
*COMPONENTS
under components;
the templates available are
1.Endenvironments
objects under this template;
*outlet
parts are:
*outlet1
*outlet2
2.Endflowinlet
3.flowsplitgeneral
4.piperound
*CONNECTIONS
connections includes the valves and orifices etc;
*REFERENCES
References does not consists of the physical structure
eg: Heat transfer , combustion

And various manuals are available for the systems such that the easier user interface can be sustained .
DESCRIPTION:
The modules used are inbuilt one ,which consists of various models that are already designed and valued .And these are the major applications which the modeling can be done with the use of various objects and templates.
eg:
ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
This model is used to design the IC engine parameters , where all the flow, mechanical, thermal parameters of the charge and the combustion and the specifications of the IC engine are validated. And also the control system for the IC engine which are developed and calibrated by hiL/siL tests and the various automotive systems such as cranktrain, fuel injection,valve train,lubrication,and transmission are parallely calibrated and such that the appropriate design can be obtained and also the emission tests are also conducted in GT-suite by the aftertreatment models and also the acoustics of the system is also managed.
The combustion models can also be used to predict the emissions ,where there are two types of combustion models are
1.PREDICTIVE
2.NON-PREDICTIVE
*Predictive models are sensitive to design changes whereas non-predictive is not.
*non-predictive models are used where the emissions are not considered most.
