Drive Cycle Simulation
Drive cycle
A driving cycle is a series of data points representing the speed of a vehicle versus time. Driving cycles are produced by different countries and organizations to assess the performance of vehicles in various ways, as for example fuel consumption and polluting emissions.

Steps:
- Import the excel data into matlab
- select the data change it to 'numeric matrix' and import selection. It will be saved in the workspace
- Open the driver_glider model from the given
(Refer - https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/63823-matlab-and-simulink-racing-lounge-vehicle-modeling) - Change the 'drcycle' input to the new excel data input 'drivecycle' to simulate drice cycle for new data
Gradient Force
The gradient resistance (climbing resistance, inclined road force) depends on the angle of the road inclination and the weight of the car.
- Initially in the 'Glider block' the grade force is zero since the inclination angle is zero.
- we have to define an inclination angle and see the causes by the gradient force in the plot.
- In the inclination angle is given as 'sin(25)' and a ouput display also given to the 'Grade force' Block.
- The data has time value till 90sec and hence simulation till is given as 90secs or more
Output
- Drive cycle final block
- The plot ( Drivecycle data vs glider output )
(The yellow represents the curve from the new data & the blue represents the curve from the vehicle output)
