Comparison of different types of Suspension Configurations using SIMULINK.
AIM:
To study different Suspension Configurations and observe their behavior.
SOFTWARE:
SIMULINK(MATLAB).
THESIS:
Suspension is the system of tires, tire air, springs, shock absorbers and linkages that connects a vehicle to its wheels and allows relative motion between the two. Suspension systems must support both road holding/handling and ride quality, which are at odds with each other. Suspension systems are of mainly two kinds which are
1.Coil-overs
2. Leaf springs.
In this experiment we wont be considering leaf spring suspension system. instead we will be observing the different configurations of Coil-over and Damper system. The configurations we will be considering are listed below.
1. Shock Absorber.
2. Non-linear Spring and Damper System.
3. Variable Spring and Damper system.
