Mixing

Non-premixed Combustion: the air and fuel are injected into the combustion chamber at the time of combustion only and there is no time for premixing

Premixed combustion: The air and fuel are properly mixed before entering the combustion chamber

Partially mixed combustion: The air and fuel are injected into the chamber and they are partially mixed before the combustion occurs
