https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlDYq9nTGAGCgzukg77hDgXwwpI1?e=0CfQhV
Objective :
To perform the connection of the rear door of the car with different connections techniques
Procedure :
- Input the files rear door into ANSA
- Set separate PIDs for windows spots welding parts
For holes where there bolt is too used, give a COG points to the holes in parts that need to be connected. Convert the COG point to a bolt .Use the connections Manager and connect the parts by selecting the bolts Features
NASTRAN MODULE >ELEMENTS>RBE2>MANY NODES can be used to create a Custer element for bolt holes when there are no different properties defined to parts
Create ZONE CUT for bolt holes which is not connected to many parts Create RBE2 connections along with the washer element around the hole
For the Door hinge connections Create RBE2 cluster elements in order to make the movement of rear door towards one directions delete the six degree of freedom under Nastran >element>info
For connections involved in SPOT WELDING
- Select the node and convert it into spot weld point
- RBE3-HEXA-RBE3 is the representations for spot Welding
Handle connections is made using RBE2 elements along with a CONMi>CONM2>NODES at COG. MASS in ANSA is represents as TONNES
Connections for widows
- Create curve around the perimeter of windows
- Transform them into spot lines.
- Select the lines after opening CONNECTIONS MANAGER.RBE3-CBUSH-REB3 is used to represent Window connections because windows are connected with soft bending to absorb shocks.
- Assign parts for connections of CBUSH elements.
- Repeat this for another window
- Change the co-ordinates to 0 in CBush Properties so it gets globally aligned towards one directions
Conclusion:
- Rigid body element are connected
- Spot welding component connections are made
- CBUSH element are represented
- Mass of Handle is represented
- Degree of freedom assigned for hinges
