3D MESHING
OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this challenge is to perform and study about 3D mesh for the given component using given parameters.
REPORT:
To learn and perform the 3D mesh three components are given,
- Housing model,
- Crank housing,
- Chassis assembly.
HOUSING MODEL:
Initially the model has been imported and geometry cleanup has been done carefully.
After the geometry cleanup, 2D mesh has been done with only tria element with element size 5mm.
After the 2D mesh the quality criteria has been checked, and some failed elements are cleared.
Then the 3D mesh is done for the housing component by using tetramesh.
And then the Tetcollapse of 0.15 is checked and some elements failed.
The failed elements are saved and the failed elements are remesh using tetra remesh for clearing the failed elements.
And finally all the 3D elements are cleared.

CRANK HOUSING:
As Same as the housing the model has been imported and the geometry cleanup has been done carefully.
After the geometry cleanup, 2D mesh has been done with only tria element with element size 6mm.
After the 2D mesh the quality criteria has been checked, and some failed elements are cleared.
The quality has been failed like min.size and max.size and it has been cleared.

CHASSIS ASSEMBLY:
Initially the Chassis Assembly model has been imported and the geometry cleanup has been done carefully.
As the model looks symmentric the one part of the model is masked and the 2D and 3D mesh is performed in one side of the component and it has been reflected to another side.
After the geometry cleanup, 2D mesh has been done with only tria element with element size 6mm.
After the 2D mesh the quality criteria has been checked, and some failed elements are cleared.
The quality has been failed like min.size and max.size and it has been cleared.
After the clear of Tetcollapse the mesh has been reflected to the other side of the component.

CONCLUSION:
By this challenge we can come to know what is 3D meshing and how it has been performed, and all the given componenets has been meshed has per given parameters.
