Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge

Objectives

1) To Route the following harness layout in the Electrical workbench.

2) Add protective covering on all branches connected to DT06-2S & DT06-4S connectors.

Given:

CAD data of the following Connectors:

• DT06-4S
• DT06-6S
• DT06-2S
• DT06-08SA

Procedures which I follow

1.Downloaded the Cad data from te.com

2.

2. Converted the Mechanical part into the Electrical part for that I had followed the following steps.

3.Madea cad drawing with the given dimensions for the assembly.

4.Using the mechanical assembly workbench placed the connecteres as per the given drawing.

5.Using the Electrical Harness Assembly workbench made the routings and added protective coverings.

Result

Made routing for harness layout in the Electrical workbench and added protective covering on all branches connected to DT06-2S & DT06-4S connectors.
