Week 9 Tension and Torsion test challenge

Objective :

To perform the tension and torsion test on the specimen provided.

Procedure :

• At first input the given model from the brouser.
• Now start giving the materials required for the given model.
• Next create the coordinate axis for the model.
• To perform tension test, provide the given boundary conditions.
• For the tension test, displace one end of the specimen to 18mm while keeping the other fixed.
• We need to find out the total deformation, equivalent stress and temperature of the specimen.

• To perform torsion test, provide the given boundary conditions.
• For the torsion test, you will need to displace one end of the specimen to an angle of 1200 degree.
• Find out the total deformation, equivalent stress and temperature of the specimen.
