Week 9-Creation of 1D Connectors Challenge
Aim:-
Model the given components by proper clean up & perform meshing & connections as per criteria.
Procedure that has followed during this challenge.
1. check any free edges & unessary surfacers are present in the surface.
2. defeture the model which is less than minimum length.
3. now meshing stage to performe surface by surface by clearing quality criteria with proper mesh flow.
4. assign the connections specified in the reqirement.
Part - I
The below captures will represents mid surface along with mesh.
For meshing 2D-automesh -surface-mesh
i. Front_Truss_1
ii. Front_Truss_2
iii. Reinf_Plate
iv.Right_Rail_1
V. Right_Rail_2
vi. Left_Rail_1
vii. Left_Rail_2
viii. Rear_Truss_1
ix.Rear_Truss_2
Total part quality check for all mid surface represented below capture.
Part -II.
For all mid surfaces & mesh connections are assigned as per reqirement.
for connections - 2d-connections -select type of connection- select nodes/elements-select geometrys -connect.
case 1.
Right_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Seam-Quad(angled+capped+L)
case 2. Left_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Quad elements.
3. Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Right_Rail_1:- Spot weld with 2 Layers and 5 mm Diameter
4. Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Left_Rail_1:- Hexa (Adhesive)
5. Rear_truss_2 & Right_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector
6. Rear_truss_2 & Left_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector.
7. Right_Rail_1 & Right_Rail_2:- Spot-weld with Rigid Elements.

9. Rest all the component left Join them with suitable connectors

Conclussion:-
Heance conclude that the model has performed mesh & conections as specified in the requirement.
