Morphing in ANSA
AIM
*To morph the given component
MORPHING
* Morphing is a design change terminology. It is widely used in changing the design or shape of any component without any numerical inputs.
*Box Morphing- The morphing box will be having control grids and it the box is moved along with the control grids.
*The advantage of morphing is that it can change the shape in CAD geometry as well as FE model.
STEPS
* The model is imported and taken for gemoetry cleanup. The triple cons present is eliminated using specific tools.

* After geometry cleanup, the morph box is created from the morphing deck as shown below.
*The box consists of grids to control its physical change.
*The coordinates are introduced by clicking inside the box.

* After introducing the box, Move option from box morphing allows to move the grids as per the desired direction.
* Reshaping in box morphing is done with the help of coordinates introduced inside the box. It is usually oriented with the global coordinates.

*Morphing is carried out in many areas in this model to produce a newly design model and it is shown below

RESULT
* The model is morphed into a newly designed model as shown below.

CONCLUSION
* In automotive industry, morphing is used to perform modifications in an existing design to generate an enirely newly designed model.
* Morphing deck consists of various tools and using its functionality a new designed model is easily produced.
