Week 6-Meshing of Hood Challenge

AIM: Prepare a post-processing analysis for the given hood model.

OBJECTIVE: Follow the below-mentioned quality criteria, mesh the component given below and assign thickness:

Target Element Length = 5 Units

PROCEDURE:

• Firstly we need to import the geometry

• After importing the geometry we need to delete the solids.

Delete > solids > displayed > delete entity

• Now we need to create mid-surface for every component separately.

Geometry > mid surface > select skin offset > select displayed component > extract.

Then we need to perform auto clean up and then we need to improve the construction line for better mesh flow.
